ABOUT MAX BROOKMAN-BYRNE
With a diverse background in social research, law, and technology I am currently working at Shelter as a research officer.For several years I was a research active academic with an interest in social science and socio-legal studies, specialising in human rights, international law, and conflict. My PhD was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, and I published and presented my work widely. I have worked with several NGOs on projects related to the legal regulation of armed drones in armed conflict, as well as giving evidence to Parliament.
