ABOUT MAVRA PAPADATOS

I am currently an Area People & Culture Business Partner in retail, partnering with the Area Manager for East London to create maximum joy for circa employees. With 4 business partners as direct reports, I focus on strategic planning to support great talent development and operational success across our stores. I focus on leadership capability, employee engagement and drive projects to support the UK market to deliver a talent pipeline for key roles.Previous experience in hospitality as a People Business Partner for the South of the UK, responsible for driving operational excellence through delivery of a great people agenda. Partnered the Regional Director and 6 Area Managers to support 60 sites and circa employees. With one direct report, I focused on talent and development, maximising leadership capability and ensuring we had a talent pipeline to attract and retain excellent people to deliver on our people promises. Previously worked as an Area HR Manager responsible for supporting Sales & Profit through implementing a HR Strategy in line with Area & Country HR Goals. I was based in high profile Central London area supporting circa 700 employees, working closely with Central HR team to deliver the best people strategy across global flagship and brand building stores. I also worked in the Greater London & Essex area supporting circa employees. Housed the Employee of the Year winner for the UK in 2018 and proudly won the Colleagues Award for the UK in 2019 for driving exceptional results across HR KPIs during my time there. Adept at challenging the status quo, influencing and driving ways of working at country level. Have also participated in HR Projects across L&D and Employer Branding.Previous extensive experience as a Recruitment Officer, with over 4 years experience managing end to end recruitment and talent assessment in house, specialising in senior store management, staff and VM roles within fashion retail across UK, ROI & International markets.
