I am a biomedical engineering junior with an interest in translational research and innovative therapies that directly impact human health. With a focus on obesity, I interned at Flagship Pioneering’s Metabolic Diseases group. I have worked on traumatic brain injury models at the Kaplan Lab, gaining hands-on experience in tissue engineering technologies. I also developed clinical operations skills during my internship in clinical engineering at Hospital Pequeno Príncipe, where I collaborated with healthcare professionals to support the implementation and training of new medical equipment. I am pursuing a science-driven career path that bridges research, clinical application, and social impact.
