I started my journey in data science not with a fancy algorithm, but with an Excel sheet, analysing insurance data and uncovering patterns that shaped real decisions. That early experience taught me something foundational: data science is not just about numbers it is about decisions, impact, and trust.Over the last 15+ years, I have built a career around that belief working across Healthcare, Pharma, BFSI, and Travel industries. From developing predictive models at UnitedHealth, to designing recommender engines at Yatra, to delivering commercial analytics at Novartis, I’ve navigated roles spanning hands on modeling, platform engineering, stakeholder alignment, and AI strategy execution.Currently, I am part of the GenAI & ML leadership at Carelon (Elevance Health’s global capability center), where I focus on driving innovation and delivering enterprise scale AI solutions. My work spans building and scaling LLM powered claims audit engines, fraud detection platforms, and MLOps driven production pipelines, solutions that have improved audit efficiency, reduced claims processing time, and supported multi million dollar operations.Beyond the technology, I focus on fostering high trust collaborations, championing responsible and explainable AI, and ensuring that innovation is deeply aligned with business goals. I enjoy working closely with cross-functional leaders to translate AI innovation into strategic advantage across operations, product, and customer experience.
