ABOUT MAURO SIFUENTES
Mauro has spent 20+ years working in service of community-based social change and equity initiatives across California\'s diverse regions. Partnering with grassroots, nonprofit, K12, community college, and public university advocates, Mauro helps bridge connections between grassroots organizers, institutional change-makers, funders, educators, artists, culture-keepers and more. These commitments help build the diverse and democratic spaces we need to nurture the voices and dreams of LGBTQ+, immigrant, Indigenous, Black, Brown, and under-resourced communities. Mauro also has deep appreciation for cultural arts, and brings an artist’s sensibilities to everything they do, having trained in music (violin performance), writing, photography, and filmmaking.
