ABOUT MAURO PIERALLINI
Professional path started in the Product Development as Body and Interiors Components and Systems responsible, then as a new vehicle development responsible and finally as Vehicle Line Vice president, having direct experience of all the Company departments and processes, till the assignment of a whole, copious and complex Engineering community responsibility both in Italy and in USA. Most relevant results have been innovative and commercial success vehicles development like Fiat Multipla, Fiat Panda, Fiat 500 (those two both “Car of the Year” awarded), the Chrysler Engineering reorganization back in the 2009 with a total of 16 product interventions in less than 2 years. More recently the development of a sporty car like the Alfa Romeo 4C and a world class SUV family in 21 months (Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500x) marked my last achievements within FCA Group. With the Piaggio Group I achieved a brand new experience in the two wheelers field business model. Back on the automobiles area, the assignment within SEAT of VW Group represents an incredible opportunity. After more than 32 years of incredible challenges and travels around the world I realised than coming back to my Turin was a great opportunity for my family and my life. So I left Seat and the VW Group not stopping to thank them for the incredible opportunity and experience they gave me. Taking care of myself, enjoying my time but also looking for new ideas will be my task for the future.
