ABOUT MAURIZIO NOBILI
I am a professional with a significant experience in several industries (telecommunication, oil & gas, energy, iron & steel) and multinational companies. I have worked as Director for Telecom, Edison, Sorgenia and as Manager for Agip and Alcan Aluminium. I have spent most of my career in the Internal Audit and Compliance field, but I was quite often designed to solve highly sensitive issues involving Security, Accounting, and Corporate Governance. During my professional career I have developed a wide international experience, together with a deep understanding of different countries business and relevant law approach. At the same time, I was lecturer for Milan University (Università Cattolica) from 2009 to 2013 and columnist for several Italian economic journals. I covered topics as Auditing, Fraud Auditing and Corporate Governance. I also hold the position of Vice President for Associazione Italiana Internal Auditors from 2002 to 2005 and for Association Certified Fraud Examiners – Italian chapter from 2004 to 2006. Moreover, in 2001 I was member of an expert commission for Confindustria (manufacturing and service companies Italian association). I’m Data Protection Officer for some companies. In October 2017 I was appointed Special Advisor for the Municipality of Genoa.
