My main responsibility is to lead & manage the deployment of the Internal Trade Compliance Program (ICP) in the EMEA Region, ensuring Company adherence to the export control laws and regulations - as defined by the Dual-Use & Strategic Goods Regulations in EU (Reg. 428/2009) and US (Export Administration Regulations)- including International embargo and sanction programmes.I have acquired extensive knowledge in designing, implementing and enhancing the ICP and related policies and procedures. Furthermore I manage the denied parties screening on sensitive transactions and Sanctioned Countries according to the UN Resolutions, EU Restrictive Measures, OFAC regulation and Anti-Terrorism lists.I’m in charge of the export licensing process, including regulatory relationships at national and EU level.I oversee the ECCN classification review of ST’s products and technology portfolio, against the Wassenaar Arrangement.I have gained experience in overseeing compliance with U.S. trade regulations and US re-export and deemed export reviews within STMicroelectronics legal entities as well as providing regulatory guidance & training to ST’s parent companies, and international affiliates.I’m also in charge of sevaral import/export procedures such as the HTS and export classifications, preferential agreements, Country of origin (non preferential).Collaborations :• From 2016 to date - cooperation with the University of Turin (Business Economics, Department of Management) and EIFEC, Mini Master in Export Compliance.• 20••••19 cooperation with the University Statale of Milan (Department of International, Legal, Historical and Political Studies), EmLab (Export Manager Laboratory).• From 2023 to date: Columnist of Geotrade (Italian magazine of trade and geopolitics).• Panelist in conferences and seminars on trade Compliance (EU Commission, Assonime, Confindustria, Deloitte, KPMG etc.).
