I’m an internationally trained energy lawyer and contracts/procurement professional with 20+ years’ experience in major oil & gas and infrastructure projects, combining over a decade at Petrobras with recent public-sector procurement and contract management in British Columbia.At PETROBRAS, I worked across the full contract lifecycle for multi-billion-dollar projects, such as Abreu e Lima Refinery, the Petrochemical Complex of Rio de Janeiro, the Manaus Refinery Expansion / Coari–Manaus pipeline corridor, as well as upstream portfolios, including offshore drilling campaigns in Salvador, Bahia, and deep-water developments off the coast of Rio de Janeiro. I later served as Associate General Counsel at a Petrobras logistics subsidiary, overseeing marine, aviation and drilling logistics contracts, including the chartering of tankers and offshore support vessels, helicopters for crew and equipment transport, and drilling rig charter agreements that supported Petrobras’ offshore operations.Since relocating to Canada, I’ve focused on contract management and strategic sourcing at WorkSafeBC, leading a team that supports both IT and Health Care portfolios. My role spans RFx strategy and evaluation, contract drafting, negotiation and lifecycle management, as well as risk, performance and compliance oversight under public-sector trade agreements, in close collaboration with Legal, Finance, Operations and Risk.I bring a deep blend of oil and gas, midstream and refining contract experience from a global operator, combined with hands-on exposure to ESG, environmental and Indigenous-related project issues. This is complemented by proven Canadian experience in public procurement law and governance, as well as contract risk management, plus active involvement with the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), including work on Carbon Capture & Storage, Hydrogen, Gas Sales and Renewable Fuels committees.
