TEACH Outside the Box is a unique opportunity for teacher candidates and educators to participate in a series of interactive workshops to explore critical education theories from various perspectives (global, Indigenous, anti-oppression, popular education), different ways to teach (in and outside of the classroom) and put theory into practice with an optional community-based alternative placement. I coordinated the development of the 2023-24 program, providing logistical and communication support to the TEACH Committee and program participants. Responsibilities include:Coordinating meetings, registration, volunteer placements, workshops & orientation (venue bookings, refreshments, invoices & payments); assisting with workshop delivery & evaluation; managing email & web communication; securing funding.
