About Mauricio Gomm
Mauricio Gomm has over 35 years of legal experience, with the last 25 years devoted to alternative dispute resolution, primarily as an arbitrator and mediator. He has served as chair, co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator, and emergency arbitrator in complex cases across various industries, including infrastructure, construction, energy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), distributorship, and franchise, under leading arbitral institutions worldwide. A Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb, FCIArb) and accredited mediator (CEDR), he is licensed in Brazil and New York and certified as a Foreign Legal Consultant in Brazilian law by the Florida Bar. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish—and proficient in French—he combines multicultural expertise with academic engagement as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami and as a frequent lecturer and author in the ADR field.
