I’m an entrepreneur, strategic advisor, and fund manager who’s helped raise, deploy, or generate over a quarter billion dollars for underserved businesses and organizations. For more than 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of capital access, strategic innovation, and operational efficiency —helping small and mid-sized businesses grow, creating good jobs, and driving economic development.My career began in corporate finance, investment banking, and management consulting with Fortune 100 companies like General Motors, Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Morgan Chase and Deloitte. I later transitioned into entrepreneurship, purchasing and scaling businesses of my own. That hands-on ownership experience drives my work today—helping other entrepreneurs navigate acquisitions, access capital, improve operations, and create long-term enterprise value.As founder of Outsourced CFO Group and US TechCom, I lead initiatives that expand access to capital, business loans, and minority business development programs. I’ve managed multimillion-dollar funds for the U.S. Treasury’s State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI), the Minority Business Development Agency’s Capital Readiness Program, and local economic development authorities. I’ve also delivered high-speed broadband solutions to rural communities, scaled healthcare innovations, and designed programs that have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs secure financing, grow revenue and increase profits.Recognized as an Atlanta Business Chronicle Top 40 Under 40 and a Georgia Forward Young Gamechanger, I’m a proud HBCU advocate and active community leader. Diamond Ventures is a venture capital firm organized to invest in and lend to highly qualified entrepreneurs, primarily veteran, minority or women-owned or managed businesses. We specialize in growth equity investment opportunities that involve government contracting and diverse suppliers to the Fortune 500.I am responsible for business and account development, deal flow, due diligence and fund management activities within Diamond’s targeted geography. Range of activities and accomplishments include the following- Led PE firm’s local capital raise efforts yielding $15M million in commitments for $200M fund- Leveraged relationships to solidify national & local government, civic and commercial partnerships- Wrote and presented investment memorandums & deal structure recommendations from portfolio accounts to investment committee in deployment of $12M million in State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) funding - Crafted revenue models, strategic plans, and cost cutting initiatives based on performance analysis- Performed NPV, IRR, and DCF analysis and risk assessments used to make deal recommendations- Led firm’s employee, vendor, real estate screening, vetting and selection activities- Created detailed forecasts, performance covenants, and KPI scorecards for portfolio companies- Performed capital budgeting analysis & fundraising activities for $350MM municipal broadband infrastructure project
