ABOUT MAURICE MERSINGER
I am a Co-Founder, Director and Head of Production/Composition at Kling klang klong.I play music since I’m 5 and I love it more than ever! With the first notes I was able to play on the guitar I started composing little pieces - and it’s still the way I begin to work on most of my music. I am addicted to distill new aesthetics and I am fascinated by the old masters. I want to connect the dots from composing to production, from picking the right instrument to mastering, for film, stage or space. While studying cultural science and media philosophy I quickly disovered that I was firmly attracted by music production. I played guitar and wrote songs in all sorts of bands, from rock ’n roll to electro pop. Later I have worked as musical director for physical theater, as creative director and composer in soundbranding and advertisement for numerous of germany’s largest brands - from pitch to launch. I am a very curious person and I want to explore new ways in combining aesthetics and technology always in alignment. But with all the fancyness: Is it not more important what we communicate than how we communicate?
