About Maureen Seeley

A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.” — Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. I love this quote because it summarizes my belief that experiencing new things breeds innovation, creativity, and new perspectives. Travel is an excellent vehicle for trying something new! My career trajectory in adventure travel is a result of personal passion and professional dedication. I want others to feel like I do when I travel, near or far— filled with a sense of joy, wonder, discovery, and the excitement of the unknown. The experiences I craft aim to create a sense of accomplishment as travelers step out of their comfort zone, learn something new about themselves, and discover they are connected to a world bigger than their own and that the choices they make matter. I love working with a team creating and managing experiences that generate customer testimonials that make me think, “The best marketing teams on the planet couldn’t come up with something this good.” It takes a village to create those types of experiences from a high-quality network of suppliers and top-notch guides to product development, trip operations, sales, customer service, marketing, and technology working in concert to make everything seamless to the customer. Relationships built on trust with clear direction and expectations are key to success- I believe cultural, environmental, and economic sustainability is an essential aspect of the tourism experience- Managing risk is a key component to a quality experience- Leaving room for spontaneity during a curated experience allows for those unscripted moments when the magic happens- A few of the experiences I played a key role in creating and managing have been recognized by publications like National Geographic Traveler and Outside Magazine. All have earned ratings averaging more than 4.8/5.0- I love learning and trying new things at work and in life!
