About Maureen Wright

I’ve been part of the personal finance industry for nearly 10 years and feel so fortunate to have a career I am passionate about. I especially enjoy the opportunity it provides to connect with folks to help them identify their financial goals and implement strategies to move towards those goals. I studied finance at Illinois State University with a minor in financial planning. I was a very motivated student-athlete, a member of the Women’s Swimming and Diving Team and graduated summa cum laude. Shortly after graduation, I was quick to continue my education and sit for the CFP® exam. I recently became a first-time mom and am a member of the full-time working moms club Outside of work and family, I spend my time volunteering with the Barrington Junior Women’s Club to raise funds for grants and academic scholarships in the community. I also sit on the board of directors for Professional Women’s Club of Chicago and am a co-chair for their communications committee. I recently embraced the suburban and the space it provides for my growing family and my 120 lb. Great Pyrenes-Lab Mix dog, Mac. I enjoy golfing, traveling, going on family walks, and spending time with the special people in my life.
