Maureen had a prominent role in hospital administration, first as the Assistant Director of Corporate development at NYU Downtown Hospital and then as the Director of Development at the New York Academy of Medicine. Her skill managing and implementing major development programs including individual and corporate fundraising and event coordination serves as a strong foundation for the intricate detail-balancing and consumer service work that she does today.Besides giving her all to her profession, Maureen feels a real social responsibility. She is a former Director of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the Quogue Historical Society and is a member of the New York City Advisory Council of Save the Children. Maureen also enjoys helping others personally as an Inner City Scholarship Fund volunteer teacher for the last eighteen years.
