About Maureen Kirschmann
As the Director of Attendance and Community Engagement for Rockford Public Schools District #205, I lead districtwide efforts to strengthen attendance and family engagement by building human-centered systems and authentic partnerships between schools, families, and community organizations.Since joining RPS 205 in 2018, I have advanced through multiple roles, helping design structures that move beyond compliance and focus on belonging, access, and shared responsibility.
