About Maureen Ansel

I am currently a high school teacher in the NYC Department of Education. I previously worked as an account executive at Red Havas where I lead everyday client communications and media outreach for companies in the financial services, biometric identification, AI, transportation and tech fields. Through my work, I built relationships with members of the media spanning a wide range of topics including workforce, DE & I, executive leadership, economy, tech, supply chain, business and more. Prior to joining Red Havas, I worked at MWWPR in the corporate communications practice for over two years. I worked with Fortune 500 clients to support and promote leaders on a variety of topics including human capital, the workforce, leadership, DEI, supply chain, finance, technology, sustainability and more. I served as a day-to-day contact across multiple teams and was responsible for media relations, drafting and compiling media materials, social media copy, research, keeping my teams organized and more.I previously served as a public relations intern at DCI, working in and learning about place marketing with an emphasis on economic development. I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University where I majored in both Public Relations and Sociology.
