1.1 Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility\'s geographic location and:• OHSAS 18001: Health and Safety management system standard;• ISO 14001: Environmental Management system standard;• TS 16949 Technical Specification Management and Linamar Quality Basics system standards.1.2 Maintain balance between customer, employee and financial satisfaction by maximizing facility/departmentPerformance Indicators to align to Linamar\'s Stepping Stool of Success Strategy.1.3 Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements.• Maintain department 5S requirements.• Submit and implement lean and safety suggestions.1.4 Set-up and troubleshoot machines in a safe and productive manner.1.5 Analyze \"out of tolerance\" conditions and make adjustments.1.6 Work to continuously improve all areas of productivity and reduce scrap.1.7 Provide direct supervision to operators in the absence of the supervisor.1.8 Train and assist operators with troubleshooting as needed and work in a team environment.1.9 Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.1.10Program CNC Machine Tools1.11Read computer generated profile views of piece being made to adjust the tooling appropriately1.12Determine when to reset a machine if it is not cutting within tolerance levels, and how to adjust or to changemachine setting to improve the quality of pieces.
