About Maulik Deulkar
I am Maulik Deulkar and I am from Seattle, Washington. I am currently a freshman at Indiana University\'s Kelley School of Business majoring in Finance and Economic Consulting. I’ve always enjoyed picking up new hobbies and playing strategy-based games that require creativity, planning, and adaptability. Those experiences shaped how I approach challenges and sparked my interest in consulting, where every problem requires a unique and thoughtful solution.At IU, I’ve actively pursued hands-on experience to apply what I’m learning in real-world settings. I competed in a case competition hosted by the Generative AI Club for Business in partnership with a local brewery, where my team developed data-driven strategies to improve efficiency and increase sales. Through this experience, I strengthened my ability to analyze large datasets and turn insights into actionable recommendations, skills that were initially outside my comfort zone. Our team earned second place, reinforcing my interest in problem-solving and analytics. I am also building technical consulting skills through Crimson Consulting, focusing on market sizing and market entry, and will soon be working with an AI event-planning startup.I aim to pursue a career in consulting where I can help organizations operate more efficiently while contributing to solutions that are innovative, equitable, and impactful.
