About Dan Mauer
In short, my job is to get CHS’s farmer-owners and DC to work better together. I have particular experience working at the federal level by interacting with elected leaders, their staff, and decision makers in both the public and private sectors.Within CHS federal government affairs, I focus on advocating for our energy business unit, which includes our CENEX-branded energy products. CHS, the largest cooperative in North America, is the largest domestic marketer of premium diesel and one of the biggest marketers of propane in the United States. We also produce 257 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol annually and market nearly a billion gallons each year. Owning one of the largest private trucking fleets in America, transportation/logistics is another area I focus heavily on, as is our network of pipelines that we use to transport liquid fuels throughout our national footprint. I am LEAN certified.
