Health and Safety Manager for the group, developing H&S strategy and management systems as part of a wider Integrated Management System. Key role in driving continuous improvement through engagement to embed a positive H&S culture into our business as usual. Responsibilities and achievements include: • Line management and development of the H&S Team • Engaging and nurturing strong relationships with all departments, including country based teams across our network, following my implementation of country team meetings • The development and implementation of a Health and Safety Management System as part of a wider Intergrated Management System (IMS) • Ongoing maintenance and management of H&S Plan, legislation register, our EU wide H&S Risk Register and manual • Providing strategic guidance and support to the business, ensuring a risk focused approach to plans and strategies that encompass or impact on H&S • Write, implement and manage company wide H&S related procedures to establish H&S standards for the whole network • Developing and implementing a comprehensive range of bio security standards, along with delivery and management mechanisms in response to COVID 19 across our network • Leading on the bio security and H&S measures needed to safely reintroduce our employees back into the workplace following the pandemic, as part of easyJet\'s Hybrid Working programme, ensuring H&S is embedded at the design stage • Managing changes to standards and practice, whether due to business improvements or regulatory change at strategic and operational levels • Managing the delivery of H&S competence training, supporting compliance and improving culture • Management of oversight, including our audit programme and H&S report mechanisms • Provision and presentation of reports for Safety Action Groups and easyJet’s safety board (ESB) • Built and maintained relationships with regulators and easyJet’s unions and work councils
