About Matt Turley

I\'ve always been curious about how things work—starting with Legos as a kid and evolving into a career in engineering. After a decade as a design engineer, I made the leap into construction at McCownGordon, drawn in by the culture and the opportunity to collaborate with experts across disciplines.As part of the MEP team, I get to blend my design background with construction, solving problems and ensuring quality from preconstruction through operations. In precon, I work with estimators to find value-driven solutions, leveraging my design experience to optimize projects before they break ground. During construction, I collaborate with trade partners and operations teams to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, making sure everything comes together seamlessly. No two days are the same, and that’s what I love about it.Outside of work, you’ll find me on the sidelines of my daughter’s soccer games, behind a camera, or logging miles on my gravel bike. Whether it’s building, biking, or capturing moments, I believe life is better when we do it together.
