As an Employee Benefits Consultant and Advisor, I used my expertise in strategic planning, consumer-driven benefits, enterprise-wide integration analysis and compliance to turn around an established retail business with staff lost time issues, communication challenges and outdated systems. I focused on providing a detailed analysis of all loss data through our EPIC 360° Advantage program, which uncovered data from Workers Compensation, Medical and Pharmacy claims, Employee leave data, Disability claims, Wellness behavior and biometric data. From the analysis, I prepared a five-year plan and helped my client understand the value of lost time, which was $5.4 million annually, and identified the impact of poor staff health behaviors on their business. By focusing on implementing small changes, this resulted in a overall savings of $10 million, and a gain of 1,1,70 lost days which gave them the ability to exceed their customers\' expectations.
