About Matt Klein

I am currently Head of Global Corporate Communications and Media Relations at Viatris. Previously I was Senior Director of Global Corporate Communications and Media Relations at the same firm.Prior to that I was the Head of Communications, Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC Bank. I was with the firm since June of 2017 and my primary role was responsibility for all internal and external communications. I have more than 20 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, and marketing with healthcare and major banking and insurance companies. I consider myself to be a very pragmatic and focused person. I pride myself on being adaptable in taking on new positions and the challenges inherent in the job. I love mapping out strategy and then quickly assessing what needs to be done. I can deliver quality results in every position. An avid runner, I’ve completed a dozen 100-mile endurance runs as well as seven endurance races greater than 200 miles, including the Tahoe 200, Big Foot 200 and the Moab 240 among others. The discipline of training for such daunting events filters into all my affairs, including my ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders in fast paced and high-pressured environments.
