Leveraging strong experience as SBA Credit Officer Team Lead, SVP at Atlantic Capital Bank, I joined Renasant Bank and made an immediate impact on the operations of its SBA division. In this role, I am instrumental in enhancing performance of the SBA group through process improvements and increased resource utilization. I lead loan closing, funding, secondary market sales, and portfolio management activities within the SBA division. Furthermore, I collaborate with a human resources partner to execute on all aspects of direct report planning.* Hold direct supervision and conduct performance reviews of SBA Portfolio Managers, Closing Manager, and Funding Manager.* Co-authored the division\'s first Construction Lending Manual and rewrote the division\'s second Operating Manual; ensure manuals are up-to-date and align with division\'s processes.* Produced multiple checklists, calculators, and clear-to-close procedures to improve quality of loan origination process, ensure loans maintain SBA eligibility, and are closed consistent with bank credit conditions.* Coach employees in need, lead recruitment of new talent, and identify training needs of specific functional roles.* Led the completion of residual corrective actions outlined in prior targeted reviews.* Improved portfolio management productivity by identifying and reducing the population of required SBA account reviews by 40%.
