ABOUT MATT PARTRIDGE
Matt Partridge is Development Director at REG Power, having joined in 2009. REG Power provides onshore wind and solar development services to its partners and has over 20 years of experience developing, building and operating energy projects.As former asset owners, we treat projects like they are ours. We provide best-in-class development services to ensure the delivery of robust power generation assets.Matt has been involved in the UK wind energy development sector since graduating from the University of Southampton in 1994 (BSc Hons Geography). During a period of over 9 years up to late 2003, Matt held a number of positions at National Wind Power (now the UK renewables arm of RWE). Subsequently, from Nov 2003 to May 2007, Matt was Director of Gamesa Energy UK, building a team of 12 staff and a onshore wind portfolio acquired by Iberdrola Renovables as the main component in a €65million acquisiton in the summer of 2008. Matt was responsible for strategic wind development at Ecotricity from June 2007 to November 2009.Throughout his career, Matt has been driven by a keen desire to see wind energy, together with other renewable energy sources, play its full part in efforts to combat climate change.
