About Matt Parker

With more than 20 years of experience, I am a leader of high performing teams, with strengths in technical accounting and auditing, project execution, and relationship building with our people, clients, and in the marketplace. I have extensive experience serving public and private clients in the energy industry, including the power and utilities (both independent power producers and regulated utilities), renewable energy, midstream and upstream oil and gas sectors. I have deep technical accounting experience in matters relevant to energy companies, such as energy trading and transacting, renewable energy development, business combinations, revenue recognition, goodwill and asset impairment evaluation, income taxes, bankruptcy and restructurings, consolidations, stock compensation, debt and equity offerings, and initial public offerings. I have significant knowledge of SEC and PCAOB requirements, having led audit engagements from large SEC public issuers to private equity-backed growth-oriented energy companies preparing for initial public offerings. My success to this point in my career has been fueled by my passion for people, and has been supported by my wife Molly, and three sons Drew, Will, and Luke.
