ABOUT MATT LINEBERRY

I love helping people think about their careers generally, and I-O psych is one pathway for becoming a genuinely transformational force for good in our work and workplaces.My personal research and consulting expertise is centered around four core topics:1. LEARNING at work: enhancing training & development systems, to support workers learning demanding work activities2. TEAMING at work: analyzing teamwork in all its complexity & fostering stronger collaborations3. MEASUREMENT at work: designing systems that measure work phenomena with precision, authenticity, justice, and genuine usefulness4. APPLIED SCIENCE: developing methods that blend & maximize doing great science AND making things better in the worldI\'ve had lots of industry experience in healthcare and military applications of this work, which makes sense, as I tend to be especially energized by high-complexity work domains like those.Specifically, I\'ve been lucky to work for and with really top-notch organizations (e.g, the American Board of Anesthesiology, the Naval Air Warfare Center, PDRI/Previsor) and universities (University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Kansas, the Harvard Macy Institute, and now Rockhurst University).On the academic side, I\'ve published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, and I have led and collaborated on over $7M in grants from agencies including the NIH, NSF, Department of Defense, and NBME.Please don\'t hesitate to reach out if we share any interests or if I can help you in your work!
