ABOUT MATT LEWINSKI

Sierra Pacific Industries is a third-generation, family owned and operated forest products company based in Northern California. With over 2 million acres of forestland in California and Washington, Sierra Pacific is the largest private industrial forestland owner in North America. Sierra Pacific operates 14 sawmills, 8 co generation facilities and 4 wood re manufacturing plants in California and Washington. We also manufacture top quality wood and wood/clad window and door products for distribution across the United States. Each year we plant up to six million new trees across our ownership. We plant multiple native species including Douglas Fir, White Fir, Hemlock, Ponderosa Pine, Sugar Pine and Incense Cedar to maintain biological diversity. Our seedlings are grown from seed sources found close to each harvested area which assures that they will be conditioned to the environment where they originated.
