I am an experienced accountant with a BA in Accounting. My long-term goal is to grow within a company and eventually lead others in the field. In the past, I have had prior experience as a staff accountant - working in accounts receivables/accounts payable tasks, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and also month-end closing. I have also done collection calls and have worked in property accounting. I have considerable knowledge in GAAP, have used Excel extensively (PIVOT-tables, V-lookups, SUMIFS), hold a Beta Alpha Psi membership, and in addition to using my leadership skills, have led a theology small group at my school. I have a strong attention to detail, am organized, and have the desire to learn new things. Outside of work, my hobbies include hiking, backpacking, and social dancing.
