Responds to crime scenes, police precincts, hospitals and other pertinent locations at the request of the District Attorney to capture accurate and crucial video evidence-Assists ADAs in the Trial and Homicide Bureaus to record defendant, witness, and victim statements. Preserves and maintains these records for use as evidence in court-Retrieves surveillance footage and constructs real-time multi-cam sequences for use in trial-Provides visual and audio redactions to sensitive material such as Police body worn cameras (BWCs), surveillance footage, and 911 calls-Responds to District Attorney’s Office calls for A/V technical support in courtroom presentations. Plays any audio/video tapes and disks that become evidence, as well as troubleshooting to overcome acoustic and visual problems in courtrooms-Provides testimony in Grand Jury and trial for the purpose of validating authenticity of evidentiary material-Creates duplications of important evidentiary material, and digitizes archive tapes for proper record keeping and storage.
