ABOUT MATT KERNAN
There are three things I love doing in my work: 1) Analytics and data visualization. Whether it’s building dynamic dashboards, testing an initiative’s viability, or projecting a budget, I love sinking my teeth into complex quantitative problems, adding structure to data, and presenting clear, actionable insights to drive business decisions. 2) Working on great teams. As much as I love geeking out about Excel or Power BI with other nerds, I find it most rewarding when I’m bringing that skillset to the table alongside marketers, developers, salespeople, and engineers who are bringing their own. There’s nothing quite like being on an all-star team. 3) Serving others. My work is the most meaningful when it directly benefits other people. At various points in my career, this has come in different forms: supporting dependable jobs in a rural manufacturing town, supplying preschools in the developing world with educational supplies and funding, or helping local governments become more efficient and transparent. Outside of work, I live in Colorado with my beloved wife Sarah and our four little girls, Mollie, Lucy, Clare, and Cecilia. We enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, reading, and playing board games.
