Design, synthesis and purification of novel small molecules as preclinical candidates across the drug discovery process (internal and client projects)- Panning, troubleshooting, and optimization of reaction sequences- Hit to lead, lead optimization and SAR optimization processes- Daily use of instruments such as UPLC-MS, UPC2, Biotage Isolera, H-Cube, Polarimeter, Microwave- Characterization of organic compounds using a wide range of tecniques such as LC-MS and NMR- Regularly reviewing the medicinal and organic chemistry literature- Presentation of results to both internal team and clients- Daily use of SciFinder database and Biovia software.
