ABOUT MATT HLADUN

My focus is to help organizations succeed. I extremely enjoy working alongside great leaders in the private, public sector, Indigenous and non-profit spaces. I am passionate about building strong relationships based on trust and ensuring all parties obtain mutual value. My approach to achieving this is to be transparent at all times. With a clear understanding of expectations and regular communication, I have seen this result into great working relationships while avoiding surprises along the way.I am originally from Saskatchewan and have worked here the majority of my career, with the exception of having the wonderful opportunity to work in New Zealand for approximately two years. Over this time, I have had the benefit of working with a variety of organizations in numerous industries (agriculture, construction and manufacturing, Indigenous organizations and lending organizations, non-profits, airline and airport, retail, SaaS and Tech, municipal, and many others). I am a Partner at Deloitte and my primary focus is audit and assurance; however, I have been fortunate to work with, or connect organizations to our wide range of specialists to help identify and solve problems that matter to them. This includes digital solutions, data analytics, IT systems and reporting software analysis and implementations, CEO, CFO and Governance labs, business chemistry, M&A and Corporate Finance help, Canadian and US tax planning, compliance and structuring, real estate advisory, public sector advisory, risk management and corporate reporting and automation.I am the Saskatchewan leader for Canada\'s Best Managed Companies am also heavily involved as a coach and judge in Deloitte\'s Fast 50 are exciting programs to help companies benchmark, develop, grow and succeed, all while getting the recognition they deserve.Personally, our family enjoys nearly every outdoor activity you can imagine, and I also participate in numerous sports during all seasons of the year. I like to give back as much as possible and have various volunteer experience throughout Saskatoon and New Zealand.
