I am currently an individual contributor and tech lead for Intune\'s Apple Volume Purchase Program (VPP) services. I lead out a small team of very capable engineers to ensure our VPP implementation is top-tier - stable, performant, scalable, maintainable, and meets customer needs in our target segments. Our function abstracts away the Apple-specific constructs and APIs and translate to/from for Intune services; we assign and unassign licenses for device and user targeted deployments, maintain asset and licensing info, synchronized to Apple\'s data stores. We own several Intune UX blades used by admins to interact with Intune. I work closely with our customer facing teams to ensure the team deliver customer value always. I also have an active role in Apple\'s next-gen management planning and implementation. We own the operation of our services, including configuring, releasing, deploying, patching and supporting 24x7 via an on-call rotation. All the code on the core services is in C#. Prior to my role on VPP, I was on Intune\'s iOS Mobile App Management (MAM) SDK team, where I worked in several areas, mostly on iOS but also some on MacOS. I worked on lots of different areas, from core data, to UX, to swizzling support, to telemetry, to Intune Services interop (enrollment and checkins), to pasteboard sandboxing support; I also spent a lot of time helping partner teams integrate the SDK, in some cases by working directly in their codebases and using their abstractions to fit into their flows e.g. for enrollment. I also implemented our v1 telemetry stack, from device-based collection to aggregation and analysis in our telemetry collection points and stores. All my work was in Objective-C and Objective-C++, and native C++, often times all had to work together, especially in partner apps. I always worked in XCode.
