ABOUT MATTHIEU ROUSSEAU
Trained in Microbiology and Immunology (PhD), I am passionate about Sciences, Immunology and Technology. During my academic career, I developed my expertise in the fields of Immunology, multiparametric flow cytometry, and mouse models. Furthermore, I acquired skills such as scientific project development and management, scientific and technological watch. I developed a strong sense for scientific synthesis as well as for result communication, publication and popularization. These skills, as well as my scientific rigor, have also allowed me to carry out numerous projects in all the teams I have had the opportunity to work with. Over the last five years, I have completed different projects aiming to characterize, understand, and manipulate the immune responses during urinary tract infections or bladder cancer in mouse models. I am curious, dynamic, autonomous, cheerful, and very involved in projects I am entrusted with. Both, in a professional or extra-professional setting, such as handball, which I have been playing competitively for 22 years, I enjoy working in and being part of a team, supervising, helping anyone who needs it, as well as passing on the knowledge and skills I have acquired. I gained valuable experience in supervising and teaching students and research fellows.
