About Matthieu Giard
President of American Air Liquide Holdings, I lead Air Liquide\'s success across the Americas region. In addition as Vice President of the Air Liquide Group, I am overseeing the Group Transformation, Digital & IT, AI, Global Business Services, Group Real Estate. I have been a member of the Executive Committee (Comex) since 2019.With my engineering background, I\'m passionate about shaping the future of industry and driving strategies for a more sustainable planet. My journey with Air Liquide began in 2004, after graduating from INSA Lyon and a first experience in consulting. I\'ve had the privilege of leading diverse business teams globally, gaining extensive international experience having lived and worked in 5 different countries and collaborating with various cultures. I pursued further education at Harvard University.My interests include manufacturing, new markets, industrial decarbonization & energy transition, sustainable performance, and purposeful leadership. Outside of work, I\'m a father, a husband and an ex-ice hockey player who still loves sports and exploring new places with my family.
