ABOUT MATTHIAS KRANZ

As an experienced professor of computer science and former head of the Secure Systems Department, I have in-depth expertise in the areas of digitalisation, defence, cybersecurity, and the strategic management of complex projects. With an academic career as a W3 professor and extensive experience in leading large-scale research and innovation projects, I am dedicate my research to Germany\'s sovereignty, safety, indepence and freedom. Parallel to my academic and professional career, I am a reserve officer in the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Here, I assume operational and strategic responsibility in the field of information technology and the digitalization of military systems. I lead my interdisciplinary team with the goal of promoting innovation, digitizing business and administration, and initiating transformative processes. This also includes networking and communication with political decision-makers and the public. Through regular continuing education and reflection, I continuously develop both my professional and personal skills. My goal is to profitably use my experience in science, business and military leadership to actively shape and strengthen our country\'s digital security, innovation capacity and strategic sovereignty.
