ABOUT MATTHIAS OSWALD

With a broad vision of Industrial Operations and Supply Chain, my international experience and the successful management of several complex industrial sites, I can accompany the transformation of the industrial tool, turning it towards the customer, by mobilizing its teams and making it more agile, to improve the competitiveness of the company at the same time as the satisfaction of the teams.I can set up complete plans of improvement: empowered teams, Operational Excellence, TPM, agile methods (Scrum, Design-Thinking.) and the transformation in Industry 4.0. My experiences as site director were in very different contexts: in a small company in turnaround state, then in integration into a big group. I had to manage both growth and decrease with social issues, with each time the necessity to improve the performance, in constraints environments (high safety risks, high social demand).I developed international competencies, with 5 years in Switzerland and being a member of an expert team on corporate level. I believe that I have a strong proven track of delivering results within complex structures and difficult environment. I was able to successful close several strategic projects as well as design and implement excellence programs. I am capable to shape and reorganize different business, able to build global relations in order to deliver required results. I am a highly analytical person with good connection to my team, stakeholders, customers and suppliers. I am people- and result-oriented and effective leader with proven ability to proactive identify and resolve problems, improve business performance, reduce cost base, optimize planning systems. More than 19 years of cross-functional experience in the field of supply chain, manufacturing, operations, quality management systems and change management give me a confidence that I can contribute to success of your company. My personal objective is to learn and grow professionally where I can use my experience, trained skills and knowledge. I am a goal-oriented team player with wide cross globe/functional experience and strong track of results on commercial and industrial side.
