ABOUT MATTHIAS CHARLTON
I am a Rural Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer. My role as Land Manager for Island Green Power includes the strategic acquisition and management of land for the development of sustainable energy projects including solar farms and battery storage facilities. This includes the identification and assessment of suitable land, accounting for environmental and social constraints. In addition to land assembly, my role includes working with IGP’s Development, Grid and Legal teams to bring schemes to fruition. Prior to my current role, I worked for a national firm of Chartered Surveyors specialising in the valuation of rural and residential property for a range of purposes, and CPO work acting on behalf of landowners impacted by Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
