Covéa Insurance have engaged Cloudoko to provide assistance in designing and building a suite of Microservices on a large Greenfield Agile development programme for the motor insurance market.Covea’s Microservices are delivered in a mixture of.NET Core and NodeJs depending on requirements. They are running as Docker Containers on Amazon Web Services Kubernetes clusters and are fronted by a Kong API Gateway.Due to the cutting-edge tech stack, I am enjoying a hands on role on this project whilst imparting my knowledge of architecting large distributed applications on the.NET Core framework to the team.The core focus if this project is on delivering high quality code and automation tests that run in CI/CD pipelines (in GitLab) against a challenging deadline set by the customer.The Microservices experience is also being applied back in to Cloudoko\'s products as part of a fundamental re-write of our SaaS platform which is now underway.
