ABOUT MATTHEW WACKETT
Matthew has 10 years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor in the real estate sector with competence in both transactional and advisory activity from roles in the public and private sector. This includes technical skillsets across the housing delivery lifecycle and in strategic leadership. In his most recent role as Head of North and West Yorkshire, Matthew gained leadership experience forming a new team within an emerging organizational structure and an understanding of how to translate public policy into delivery solutions. Matthew is always open-minded, prepared to listen and learn to grow as an individual and professional. He has a particular interest in the ongoing housing crises and believes that through partnerships underpinned by a problem-solving approach more of the right homes in the right places can be delivered for greater socio-economic benefit. Matthew enjoys being outdoors hiking, running and could be tempted to dig out his trip-suit again for another triathlon.
