Who is Matt Statson? 🤔i\'m a 29 year old who has worked in the gaming industry for 10+ years. it started when i was in highschool and worked at GameStop after school, then content creation in the gaming space, PlaytestCloud, and now GPORTAL. if you have a 2nd monitor, you can binge watch my content or say hi to me on stream. GPORTAL in a Nutshell GPORTAL is a platform that allows for studios and publishers to activate official servers. we even let players themselves rent their own private servers for their favorite games. our team does all the heavy lifting to make sure your game can be played by gamers from around the whole world. A Professional Who Understands Gamingdue to my parents handing me a PlayStation control in the late 90s, i have grown up playing video games all my life. creating content covering gaming has helped me better learn the market and realize what keeps players invested in their favorite games. Figuring Out What Makes People Happyyears of improv experience has taught me to think on my feet, adapt to new situations, and overcome any problems that arise. my time spent on stage becoming different characters allowed me to understand that each person faces different challenges. i still use this mindset when i hop into a scoping call.
