I am a Chartered accountant, public finance management expert and development economist with twenty-five years’ experience working in senior roles across finance, government, NGO, management consulting and international organizations, with a focus on education for the last 9 years. I am currently Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and was formerly Head of Risk and Compliance, and Deputy Manager of the Country Support Team at GPE. Prior to moving to GPE in 2015, I was UK Head of International Development Assistance Services (IDAS) at KPMG.I was selected by Devex as one of the 40 Under 40 International Development Leaders in London and by KPMG as an Emerging Leader.Projects which I managed have included- KPMG / UK Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI), the body responsible for scrutinizing the UK’s aid spend, reporting to the UK Parliament (Finalist in the US Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) awards for 2015)- PKF / DFID Strengthening Public Expenditure Management project (Winner of the UK Management Consultancy Association (MCA) International Award for 2012)
