ABOUT MATTHEW SCOTT

I’m an Associate with an MBA from the University of Alberta, committed to delivering meaningful impact for clients by combining strategic insight with hands-on execution. Drawing on my background in psychology, I approach complex business challenges with a deep understanding of human behaviour—whether it’s fostering stakeholder alignment or designing solutions that resonate with diverse audiences. Over the course of my time in industry, I’ve honed my ability to translate ambitious ideas into tangible results—developing pitch decks to secure government and industry funding, building an enterprise risk management system to map organizational exposure, and automating key processes with Microsoft Power Automate. Collectively, these experiences have shaped my problem-solving approach, bridging the gap between strategic vision and pragmatic execution to deliver lasting outcomes. Outside of work, I founded UA Case Prep to guide MBA students through the consulting recruitment process and served as Co-Captain of the 2025 MBA Games team. I’ve competed in and won several external and internal case competitions, sharpening my analytical thinking and teamwork under pressure. Today, I draw on these skills, strategic communication, risk evaluation, process optimization, and collaborative leadership, to help my clients tackle their most complex challenges. By fusing diverse professional experiences, a psychology-informed perspective, and a results-driven mindset, I strive to deliver solutions that foster sustainable growth and long-term success.
