As an economist, policy advisor, and political strategist, my experiences have one core theme- teaming up with government, private sector, and non-profit leaders to build a vision for more vibrant and innovative cities. My passion the future of cities and economic development began to take root due to my past experience at The Walt Disney Company in a role focused on macroeconomic research. I believe the creative and innovative toolkits successfully used by Disney can be used to help downtowns harness the trends that can enhance economic opportunity and quality of life. Through serving on the Policy Team for the presidential campaign for former Denver Mayor, Colorado Governor, and current U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper, I collaborated with national thought leaders to develop a policy approach for the future of work.
