ABOUT MATTHEW REID
As a Marine General Officer, my path was anything but conventional. I led Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning commendations for valor while navigating the complexities of modern warfare. I commanded at sea on three tours, ran a $450M technology modernization effort that cut costs by 62%, and turned around a struggling recruiting team in Florida, leading them from worst to first in the nation. Overseas, I led a task force in Bahrain, overseeing security for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and managing maritime security after the October 7th attacks.
