ABOUT MATTHEW SALVESON
I have been working as a civil engineer specializing in transportation since I graduated from UC Davis in 1991. I have since completed a PhD in civil engineering (also from Davis) and have spent most of my career working as a consultant. In 2008, I took a 6-year detour as a professor at Sacramento State, where I still teach one class a semester. I am currently a principal transportation engineer at Wood Rodgers working on delivering public projects in California.
