ABOUT MATTHEW RYAN

I was born in Hungary and grew up in Budapest until the age of 8. I then moved to Teesside in the North East of England and completed my secondary and higher education here. I am a Christian. I have been passionate about training for the past 6 years, and am also a loyal Middlesbrough FC fan. Last June, I completed my A-Levels at Stokesley Sixth Form, achieving A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I am a suitable problem-solver of complex situations, and can leverage my strong mathematical skills to do so. I love doing this through technology, and am currently building projects with Python and SQL to build a fundamental understanding of data science and ML. Currently, I am in my first year studying BSc Mathematics with Data Science at the London School of Economics. This programme introduces me to new techniques to solve complex problems with intricate analytical techniques. Outside of the degree, I am enrolled in MBP Capital, Green Finance and Data Science societies, further improving my commercial awareness and soft skills to prepare myself to work in a professional setting.My goal for the future is to go into a career where I can challenge my mathematical skills, work in a social, multicultural environment and keep continuously developing as an individual. Ticking these boxes would be motivating for me, and allow me to have a satisfied work life.
